Retour Aléatoire (Random Return)
Retour Aléatoire (Random Return), this is the title chosen by Dominique Marchès to name a hybrid project:
Return, because the artist returns to his career, during which he founded and directed several galleries and contemporary art centers; return, because it evokes his life as a photographer, and the eclectic collection he has passionately gathered since 1972; return, finally because he chronicles certain facts and meetings essential to his subjective journeys. Random, because he likes to play: if he closes his eyes, he returns to Thouars, a city dear to his adolescence. Random to mean open and fragmentary content, a professional, personal and artistic story where things intertwine and are done without any certainty of predictability.

Un Été
During the summer holidays, Elliot comes to visit his grandparents, in the country. He will spend two weeks there and observe the life of his family in a lonely panorama.
This film is a personal project that blends documentary style and visual poem. Almost without words and entirely shot at sunset over several weeks, Un Été follows daily life and gathers the characters in an intimate and radiant circle, just before sunset.
