About Me…

Hi!

My name is Pierre-Philippe Toufektchan, I’m 31 years old and from Lyon, France.

After growing up in the suburbs of Lyon, I chose to pursue a career in the arts by studying at the Lycée du Premier Film in Lyon, where I obtained both a CAP and a BAC PRO in graphic design. I then continued my studies at EESI (École Européenne Supérieure de l'Image) in Poitiers, an art school where I gradually shifted my focus toward filmmaking and photography.

In 2017, after five years of study, I graduated with a DNSEP (Diplôme National Supérieur d’Expression Plastique) and began working as a photographer and writer/director.

I’m now based in Lyon, but I travel frequently across France to work on various projects including documentaries, short films, and portrait/landscape photography.

I love writing stories, watching films, meeting people, taking portraits, and collaborating with teams.

Since December 2021, I’ve been working at emlyon business school in the Communication & Marketing department. I write, direct, and edit videos (interviews, aftermovies, teasers, and social media clips) and also do photography—mainly portraits.
